Metrune

Turning a complex AI product into a website people can understand quickly.

Metrune is an AI infrastructure platform for engineering teams. The website needed to explain a technical product clearly, show the software in action and give potential customers enough information to evaluate it without relying entirely on a sales call.

The challenge

Metrune combines deployment, monitoring, cost control and reliability tools in one platform.

That creates a website problem: explain enough for technical buyers to understand its value without overwhelming them with terminology, features and infrastructure details.

The site needed to answer three questions quickly:

  • What does Metrune actually do?
  • How would my team use it?
  • What does it cost?

Making a technical product easier to understand

Instead of leading with long explanations, the website puts the product interface at the centre of the story.

Realistic dashboards, traces, deployment information, performance metrics and cost data show visitors what the platform does while they read about it.

This lets the interface explain part of the product instead of relying entirely on marketing copy.

A clear journey through the product

The platform was organised around four jobs engineering teams need to handle:

  • Deploy: launch and manage AI systems safely.
  • Observe: understand what happened during every run.
  • Control: track usage, spending and budgets.
  • Operate: monitor reliability and respond when something goes wrong.

Showing the product in context

Rather than using decorative graphics, key parts of the website demonstrate realistic scenarios.

Visitors can see individual requests moving through a system, where time is being spent, how AI usage affects cost and how a problematic release can be identified and rolled back.

The aim was to move the website from telling visitors what Metrune can do to showing them how it works.

Built for self-service evaluation

Technical buyers often want to investigate a product before speaking to sales.

The wider website therefore includes:

  • Platform information
  • Integrations
  • Pricing
  • Documentation
  • API reference
  • Changelog
  • Blog
  • Use cases

A scalable content system

Five content types were connected to Sanity CMS: documentation, release notes, blog posts, integrations and use cases.

That means frequently changing content can be published without editing the website code.

The same design system is shared across the site so new content stays visually consistent as the platform grows.

Designed across every screen

Complex product interfaces can quickly become unusable when desktop layouts are simply reduced in size.

Metrune's responsive layouts were designed to reorganise instead: dashboards simplify, content stacks logically and important actions remain easy to reach.

The outcome

The finished website gives Metrune a complete marketing platform rather than a single landing page.

It combines product explanation, interface storytelling, pricing, documentation and editable content into one consistent system designed to support visitors from their first introduction to deeper product evaluation.
