Streamline Web is a web design and development studio based in Edinburgh, Scotland, operating as a sole business. It is the controller of personal information collected through this website. For privacy questions, email hello@streamline-web.co.uk.
Information you provide
When you contact us, we may receive your name, email address, company, budget range, project information, and anything else you choose to include. We use it to reply, assess your enquiry, prepare proposals, and provide requested services.
When you use the website's AI assistant, your question is sent to Anthropic to generate an answer from our published site guide. Please do not include confidential, sensitive, or unnecessary personal information in a chat question.
Legal basis and retention
We process enquiry information to take steps at your request before a contract and for our legitimate interest in responding to prospective clients. If we work together, we may retain relevant records to perform the contract and meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations. Enquiries that do not proceed are deleted when they are no longer reasonably needed.
Service providers and international transfers
We use a small number of trusted providers to run this website and respond to enquiries: Vercel (website hosting), IONOS (email), Web3Forms (contact-form processing and delivery), Cal.com (call scheduling), Anthropic (AI-assistant response generation), and Google Analytics (anonymous, consent-based analytics). We only share the information needed for each service. Some providers may process data outside the UK, where we rely on their appropriate safeguards. This page will be updated if our providers change.
Cookies and analytics
Essential technology may be used to operate and secure the website. We use Google Analytics 4 for anonymous usage statistics. It is only loaded after you accept analytics cookies via the consent banner; declining means no analytics cookies are set.
